Tie Bolt & Bearing Hole Puncher

The 230-030 & 230-040 use standard SML 3-point industrial Duty punches made from steel, hardened and ground. The Design of the 3 punch guarantees that the blank is easily removable from the die. The tie-bolt and bearing uses a high tensile bolt with a standard fine thread to maximize gearing. Friction between the bolt head and die is absorbed by means of an axial roller bearing. This spreads the load over a much greater area than conventional ball bearings.
